# Change Request: Upgrade Jamf Pro to 11.x

## Summary
We will upgrade the on-prem Jamf Pro server from version 10.50 to 11.2 to fix a
critical security vulnerability disclosed by Jamf last week.

## Risk Level
Medium. Jamf Pro manages all 3,500 company-owned Macs; a failed upgrade could
temporarily disrupt policy enforcement and inventory reporting.

## Testing
We restored a copy of the production Jamf Pro database to our staging server and
successfully performed the 11.2 upgrade there on 2026-09-10. All smart groups,
policies, and configuration profiles loaded correctly after the staging upgrade.

## Implementation Steps
1. Put Jamf Pro into maintenance mode.
2. Take a full database backup.
3. Run the Jamf Pro 11.2 installer.
4. Verify the web console loads and a test policy executes on a pilot Mac.
