Gimle is made by Marian Albers, Burscheid, Germany (address and contact in the Impressum).
Gimle is free of charge. You may download, install and use it, privately or in your organization, and deploy the unmodified package to the Macs you manage (for example through an MDM). The configuration profiles, scripts and examples that come with it may be adapted for your own deployment.
Gimle is not open-source software. All rights not granted here are reserved. The third-party components listed below remain under their own licenses, which take precedence for those components.
Gimle is a concept app, not a supported product. It may change or be withdrawn at any time, and there is no right to support or updates. Test it on a non-production Mac before you deploy it.
Because Gimle is provided free of charge, I am liable only for intent and gross negligence (§ 521 BGB), and for defects only if I fraudulently concealed them (§ 524 BGB). This does not limit liability for injury to life, body or health, or under the Produkthaftungsgesetz.
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence still apply.
Gimle includes the following third-party software. Each is used under its own license; the full license texts are copied below from the upstream projects. Apple frameworks that are part of macOS are not listed.
